Last Day of Facebook!!

Sorry for the countdown of me deleting my Facebook. I should probably just do it and not really tell anyone but that doesn’t seem fair! A lot of people have been asking me why I’m deleting it or asking me not to. For me, Facebook is a distraction. It allows me to focus on people who I haven’t seen in YEARS and I scroll through pictures and pictures of people I will never talk to ever again. Yes, the “stalking” was a thing of mine. But I would spend hours a week just scrolling. It’s such a waste of time. I totally get that it’s a way to stay connected with people. I love all my friends that I haven’t seen in a while and Facebook was a good way to be able to see what they’re doing but I want things to be more personal! So, email me your pictures of your fantastic trip to Thailand, or your new video of your new puppy or whatever. Tell me all about it by calling me or skyping me! I want connections back in my life as ridiculously cheesy as that sounds. Interestingly, I saw someone post this on Facebook this morning and it feels like a great ending to this post.

So, if you want my email it’s dreambiglivebigger67@gmail.com and there, you can ask me for me phone number or Skype!

  1. Thanks for your like of “Leaving Comfort Zone” on Writewireless. I hear more and more people leaving Facebook for the reasons you stated, and I applaud your decision. More time to focus on your life & adventures! I’m following your blog to hear more about the Seychelles trip. Best of luck!

  2. Good for you!! We have to admit that we spend less and less time on our personal Facebook account now that we blog and have a FB page… we just haven’t brought ourselves to delete the account but maybe in due course, we will get there đŸ™‚ PS – great quote by George Carline!!
