So here we are. Finally creating a blog to follow us on our journey of journeys. Too bad we didn’t make this for Ireland this past spring break.
For those of you who don’t know, we’re going to Seychelles in January. Seychelles is a not-so-well known island north of Madagascar. If you have never seen pictures, I’m telling you right now GOOGLE IT. It is the most gorgeous place I have ever seen, and I’m saying that just by seeing pictures online. I’m sure I will be saying that and much more when we actually experience it first hand. We will be going for 2 months as part of an internship that is all about wildlife conservation. Specifically, we will be doing a lot of research of the islands flora and fauna including the sea turtles, tortoises, the famous coco de mer, and get this: WHALE SHARKS. We will be snorkeling pretty much everyday, making notes and observations of everything that we see and taking that and doing actual research based on those observations! It is really a dream come true for both of us. We’ll be keeping you updated through our entire journey, not only to Seychelles but wherever the wind takes us, which will be anywhere and everywhere.
I have also decided to delete my Facebook. Brody deleted his a long time ago and it’s time I follow. This blog will be the only way of seeing what we’re doing. Either that or you can still text or email us 😉
Wish us luck!
